Centrally located to many Historic sites, Museums, Restaurants and More! We offer nine lovely vintage guestrooms. Three of our rooms have fireplaces, and we have a beautiful wood burning fireplace in our great room, perfect to cozy up with a book in front of on cold winter days. In Summer season, you can walk to the beach and restaurants. We are on the river with a lovely fire-pit seating area, perfect to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset. Use one of the Inn's kayaks to explore the river and enjoy the bird watching on this beautiful estuary. We also have many outside areas to relax and escape from the everyday. An extensive library offers quick reads on local interests and some classics. The fall and winter are exquisite in New England with glorious crisp days to enjoy leaf peeping, apple picking, winery or craft brewery visits. The restaurants on the shoreline are plentiful and delicious. Antiquing, Art galleries, Museums and Outlet Shopping will fill your days. There are so many attractions including Old Mystic Village, Seaport and Aquarium, Casinos and the Essex Steam Train and Connecticut Riverboat. Our Inn is centrally located and a perfect home base.
