The Seaside Inn is a twelve guest room inn in an 1850 sea captain's home overlooking Port Clyde Harbor and Muscongus Bay. This true Maine fishing village is located at the tip of a peninsula in the Town of St. George. In Port Clyde the welcome is warm and the pace is slow, though we do have free high speed, wireless internet access at the inn for those guests who must check their email. The Port Clyde General Store is located just across the street from the Seaside Inn. Its Port Clyde Kitchen is a great eating place for breakfast or lunch, with limited dine in seating during 2020. The full menu is available for takeout, to enjoy at our picnic tables on the dock. The famous Marshall Point Lighthouse and Museum is a short walk away as is the Drift-in Beach, Port Clyde's picturesque swimming beach. Come visit us, relax and enjoy the views! Seasonal, July 1 through Columbus Day, October 12, 2020. Please be aware that since the Seaside Inn was built in 1850 it is grandfathered in and is not ADA compliant. We do not have an elevator or air conditioning. Due to State of Maine lodging guidelines and restrictions related to COVID-19, guests will check themselves in for the 2020 season. There will be no staff available to assist with luggage this year. Ice will not be available. Walk-ins are not accepted. We appreciate your understanding as these guidelines were put in place with the safety of Maine residents and tourists in mind.
