Toy giant Hasbro announced Tuesday it has struck multi-year licensing agreements with four casino industry partners to expand its beloved brands into gambling venues, marking the company's most extensive push into adult entertainment markets in its nearly three-decade history of casino licensing.
The partnerships with Aristocrat Technologies, Evolution, Galaxy Gaming, and Bally's will bring iconic Hasbro properties including Monopoly, Yahtzee, and Battleship to casino floors and online gambling platforms starting in January 2026. The new partners join existing licensee Sciplay in what Hasbro executives describe as a cornerstone of the company's "Playing to Win" strategy unveiled in February.
Each partner will focus on distinct segments of the gambling industry. Evolution secured exclusive worldwide rights for online live casino and slot games, building on its successful Monopoly Live and Monopoly Big Baller titles12. Aristocrat Technologies will develop land-based Monopoly-themed slot machines for casino floors globally23.
Galaxy Gaming, which Evolution acquired for $85 million in 2024, will create casino table games based on Hasbro titles including Monopoly, Yahtzee, and Battleship45. Bally's will serve as Hasbro's business-to-consumer online casino operator2.
"We're all about play—and that means meeting our fans wherever they are, from the game table to the casino floor," said Claire Hunter Gregson, Hasbro's Director of Gaming Relationships67.
The first games under these agreements are expected to debut at Global Gaming Expo in 2025, with casino implementations beginning in early 202612. Evolution plans to showcase new Hasbro-based titles at ICE Barcelona 20263.
Matt Reback, president and CEO of Galaxy Gaming, said the partnership reflects his company's focus on table games. "Monopoly, Yahtzee, and Battleship have thrilled generations of players, and we look forward to translating the fun and excitement of these games into new and entertaining casino experiences," he said12.
The announcements represent Hasbro's most comprehensive expansion into casino licensing since it began working with the gambling sector nearly 30 years ago12. The global online gambling market is projected to reach $169 billion by 2033, according to industry analysts3.
Hasbro's existing digital gaming successes, including the Monopoly Go! mobile game which generated $39 million in revenue during the first quarter of 2025, demonstrate the commercial potential of adapting its intellectual property for adult audiences3.
