For generations, Seascape guests have enjoyed the charming cottages and vintage motel, surrounded by trees and with views of the sea. Under new ownership, Seascape has been lovingly renovated to both continue its legacy and add new features for guests of all ages to begin new traditions together. At check-in, you are welcomed by the warmth of music playing from a record player on the front desk, likely the Beatles or Fleetwood Mac. Here you’ll find a library of vinyl records for you to take back to your room. There is also a small, curated market of beverages and treats--including vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free. Once you are here, you will remember the times in your life when you felt most free, when travel was about simplicity and wonder. This is not just a place to sleep. Slow down, relax, and reflect on your deck with a glass of wine–or a bottle–and experience Penobscot Bay at sunset. Grab an organic popsicle and a novel and renew your spirit by the heated pool all afternoon, cooled by the coastal breeze. Savor the natural beauty of a walk in our woods or on 100 acres of well-marked paths right next door, in the sanctuary of the Fristad Trails. Gather at the fire pits on crisp evenings, making s’mores with new friends under crystal starry skies.
